Hello
everyone. Welcome to another episode of our favourite section ‘Life is an Art’.
We’ll be talking about The Multiplier Effect.
When
an influential person, a governor or senator changes a known policy, it doesn’t
just end there. It has the multiplier effect of affecting the people, from the
lowest to the high level.
This
is the reason for writing this. Lecturers went on strike because the governor
refused to meet with their terms. We all know that they are the key for any
higher institution. When they refuse to work, the students’ lectures and exams
will be halted.
This
is not the only affected issue. How about the traders and drivers who depend on
the student consumers?
I
could hear the drivers lament deeply and insult the governor for making them to
starve. I could see the petty traders carry their goods endlessly, fearing that
they may return home the same way as yesterday.
How
about the students whose Parents have labored hard to pay their fees or the
rent they must have paid, that expire every single day that goes?
This
is what I call The Multiplier Effect. When you evaluate this, you only consider
the lecturers whose rights are not fully granted and jobs in risk. You’ve never
thought of those who depend solely on this system.
My
advice to them? Diversify. Do not depend on just one thing because when that
thing falls, you’ll return scrapping and falling along with it.
Strive
to find other means of sustenance because nothing last, not even us.
And that is it. Life is an art. It is very beautiful and
lovely. Although, behind those lovely designs are mistakes and errors. Life is
not always the way we want it to be but it is our duty to make ourselves happy.
Remember that life is very short to be
unhappy. So forgive quickly, love truly and never forget anything that made you
smile!!!
