To My Little Girl
My little girl, carrying you for nine months was sincerely not an easy task. It was the most difficult days of my life. I felt very sick and nauseous most of the time. There were things that I couldn’t do, some work I couldn’t perform and some places I couldn’t go to.
I knew it wouldn’t be easy but I felt very happy that I would see how beautiful you are. I lived each day, longing to see how beautiful and cute you are.
Your dad was very loving and caring. He’s the most wonderful man I’ve ever met. You’ll be proud of him being your dad when you grow up. Your dad treats me like a baby…he takes good care of me and ensure that you’re very fine.
“This baby is very stubborn. It’s going to be a boy”.
“No darling. It has to be a girl”. I argued, as we played in the moonlight, my feet on his, while he massaged it carefully.
I knew it has to be you. I knew you’d be my little girl, my jewel, the joy of my life.
You wouldn’t imagine the joy and happiness I felt when I first bore you in my hands. You
were so beautiful and innocent that I thought I’ll keep crying for the whole day.
I promise to love you and protect you always. I promise to offer you what is within my capability. I promise to cherish you like always, right from when you were born till you grow into a teenager and a woman ripe for marriage.
No matter what age you grow to, you’ll always remain my little girl. I love you so much!
